The Adornment was inspired by a beautiful wedding gown I saw in a magazine. The graceful flow of the gown evoked images of water and lace embellishing made me think of flowers. The composition came together so easily in my mind that it was truly fulfilling to be able to see her completed. It took me 75 hours to do, which to date, is the most time I've spent on one painting.
