This is another image that I had seen in the kuukoom soapstone. I never know where the colors are going to be when I am carving the stone, until I have sanded and oiled the stone. Then the true colors shine through. I was so happy to see that the colors of the stone all came in the perfect spots. Including the colors of the eyes, the face and the feathers.
