Canadian artist Bram L. Wolf lives and works in a horse farm area of southern Ontario. He spent most of his early life in a small ranching community in the West. Working and living among farms and ranches gave him a great respect for the working cowboy, the great romantic figure of the North American West. Most people don't realize the long hours and hard work that is required of the men that choose this life style. Dust and sweat is their constant companion not to mention the brutal winters that some of them endure. They are definitely the backbone of the cattle industry. Other subjects that Bram likes to paint include the early trapper or mountain man, the Native American and wildlife. His favorite horses are the Quarter horse and the Mustang and his favorite dog is the Australian Cattle Dog (Heeler). He enjoys hiking, horseback riding, fishing, camping, canoeing and horse events. Bram has a Bachelors and Masters degree in art and also spent three years working with a well known American painter. He has been a professional artist for almost 30 years. He accepts commissions All listed prices are without a frame He can be contacted through his email: bram.wolf@yahoo.ca
