She is a truly beloved gift and I am thankful for her each and every day. I found that inner glow that she portrays through the shadows of her now only abandoned fear, she has come such a long way in becoming her true joyous self. She used to be so fearful, untrusting, dangerous and unconfident. Now, she is a glorious light and a free and happy spirit. Her true self is slowly emerging and we are having so much fun learning together… She is now such a playful and happy horse, and all her true colors have risen above her dark shadows. I wanted to do something truly unique with this horse art painting. So I studied the works of Turner and Monet and how they capture 'atmosphere' in their art. So with a deep breath with a brush in hand I set to creating this piece of western horse art, 'The Golden Filly" Cheyanne, being such a shy, inward and unconfident filly, and since her true self is still emerging, I didn't want to have the full focus on her detailed image. What I wanted to achieve was the feeling and color of her true soul deep within. I wanted to bring forth the colors of the warmth and glow that she has inside of her and bring that out to represent her true magical soul. I feel very lucky to be a part of her life knowing that she picked me as the one to be with. We are on a journey different than my other horses; our path together is more of a spiritual one. Our goal with is to learn dressage naturally, to classical music.
