I love the mystic and untamed beauty of the wild mustangs. The wild mustangs bring a mysterious energy of "old soul wisdom" and secrecy to me. They are a true part of the mother earth, and all of her profound inner secret knowledge lies deep within them, but best of all, they are untouchable.
Those who are able to catch glimpses of them are so very fortunate and should treat it so as a true privilege. My husband had the most amazing experience of being able to run with a wild heard of mustangs years ago with an old horseman that he knew. He says it was one of the most life altering experiences of his life and one her will never ever forget.
I chose to put this small band of mustangs into a silhouette scene only because they are so elusive that I didn't want detailing the images within which portrayed who they are, but yet to represent the freedom of their spirit through world they live in. I wanted to keep them as mysterious as they truthfully are.
