Morning Glories
Original Oil Painting 48" x 32 " – $1,600 + taxes, SH&I

This large canvas was inspired by the vines of Morning Glory flowers that we have outside our home. We recently renovated our home and I wanted to create a large canvas that would look good on one of those big empty freshly painted walls. I used a method of painting where several layers of translucent coates are painted on top each other called “glazing”. The effect is that depth is created as you can see some of the layers under the top glazes showing through, especially in the bright sunlight of day.
