Ellen Cowie also creates portraits from life, without the use of photographs. In the case of landscapes, several visits are necessary as the natural light changes rapidly. In the case of portraiture, the subject will need to agree to several sittings. All travel and accommodation expenses relating to these visits or sittings are in addition to the price of the painting. |
