Step Six

Live Portrait Step 6 - By Canadian Artist Ellen Cowie

The overall image is taking better form of the person. The chair was a distraction, your eyes were drawn away from her face to the edges of the top of the chair. Since the chair is completely of no significance to the portrait I have decided to envelope her wise and beautiful features with the cloak of darkness which I think is a wonderful contrast to her strong presence.
