Canadian artist Maurade Baynton paints animal portraits as well as children portraits. Maurade Baynton takes commissions for her artwork. "My passion is to continue portraying that unique bond that children have with the animal world. My goal is to capture that fleeting moment of innocence before they grow into adulthood."

Rick Berg
Rick Berg Alberta Artist
Canadian artist Rick Berg is a self taught artist working mainly in oils, originally from Red Deer, Alberta and now based in Crossfield. His work is clearly influenced by the special light, landscapes and wildlife found between the prairies and mountains. Long known as a skilled portrayer of wildlife, Rick's more recent work has shown an increasing sensitivity to light and color as subjects in themselves, often expressed in the urban environment of houses, gardens, city parks, and golf courses. His painting have served as covers for sport equipment catalogues, and magazines such as Alberta Hunting and Fishing, and Rural Montana.

Maxine Boss
Wave Watcher - Original Oil 12 x 16 by Maxine Boss - Calgary Alberta Watercolour Artist
Maxine Boss is a Calgary artist, born and raised in small communities throughout Alberta.
Watercolour was her original medium and she has since added collage and oil to her repertoire.
Maxine' s desire to capture in paint, those moments or scenes that evoke emotion, are what led her to begin her studies in 1994.
Her subject matter may vary greatly but a strong use of colour and texture predominant.

Karoll Dalyce Brinton
Karoll Dalyce Brinton Alberta Artist
Alberta artist Karoll Dalyce Brinton has done portraits of people, including children (which are considered by many artists to be impossible to portray those soft, innocent, and lineless features). She has created hundreds of equine, feline, and canine portraits. Her instructor, Margaret Nadeau, wanted her to do anything besides horses. Margaret believed that it would be impossible to have a balanced knowledge of various things if she allowed this young lady to do horses. Thus, Karoll became quite adept at landscapes over the years. Of course it helps that she loves being out in the forests and beside mountain streams. Loading up her horses for a few days and heading to the high country for inspiration and relaxation.

Bernie Brown
Bernie Brown Pencil Artist
Canadian artist Bernie Brown is a self-taught pencil artist born and raised in Saskatchewan. A former junior high school art and physical education teacher, he gave up teaching in 1989 to become a full-time pencil artist. In 1993 this Canadian pencil artist and his family left their home in Swift Current, Saskatchewan and now live near Okotoks, Alberta. Alberta artist Bernie Brown takes great pride in his prairie heritage and strives to accurately depict scenes in his artwork that portray our western culture through his western art. Recently, realistic wildlife drawings have given him the opportunity to support worthwhile organizations whose purpose is to preserve these animals in their natural habitat.

Brian Burness
Alberta Artist Brian Burness
Brian started oil painting on canvas in 1994 with a southwestern flare as a form of relaxation and hobby. Since that time he has focused on more variety and has branched into abstracts using oil and beeswax as a medium. He also continues with his southwestern style.
Brian Burness is a self-taught oil medium artist born and raised in Estevan, Sask. He moved to Alberta in 1972 to work in the oil and gas industry where he is still employed as a marketing consultant for oil service companies in Calgary, Alta.

Gwen Burroughs
Gwen Burroughs Alberta Artist
Her natural aptitude for painting allowed her to embrace art as a way of expressing herself while tapping into a reservoir of creativity and spiritual connection.

Gwen further honed her skills through private study and workshops with individuals such as Alex Fong and Anne Hunter. In 1993 she turned her painting into a full-time career and is currently a member of the Interpretations Artist Association of Calgary, AB, Canada. Her work has been exhibited in the Offices of the Minister of Community Development, You be the Judge Gallery, The Muttart Gallery, Sussex Gallery, Hendrix Gallery, and Watermark Gifts. Private collectors all over the world have purchased Gwen's art, including Western Canada, Vancouver, Toronto, San Diego, New York, Phoenix, Nevada, Iowa, Oklahoma, London England and Venezuela.

Watercolor painting has allowed Gwen to find her special place in the world, a way to relax and express her heartfelt creative spirit.
