Eileen Dotzler

I usually work in acrylics on canvas, but have recently discovered Fresco (painting done on plaster) .The technique is Fresco "Secco" or dry Fresco ,like Leonardo Da Vinci used on the" Last Supper". All fresco can be hung as they are or mounted on a frame (please inquire ,a handmade frame is available on request). I find the Fresco to add greater depth and transparency to the acrylics ,I also like the surface flaws which add character to the work, giving it that just pulled off the wall feeling. I am inspired by light and the play of light on subjects. I usually paint animals and nature but occasionally, paint people and do pencil drawings of pets.

Sylvia Dumais

Painting is my passion; it brings a sense of peace and creativity. I like to meditate while listening to my nature cd, and then start creating and sketching for my next paintings. My biggest fan and critic is my husband, he has always encouraged and supported me with my artwork. I’d like to thank my family and friends for their support. My greatest inspiration is my mom who meant the world to me; I know she’s watching over us.
Some of my artwork can be seen at “Tickle your fancy” in Bragg Creek AB.

Bobbi Dunlop

|
Decades of pursuing the language of brushstrokes has channeled Bobbi Dunlop's unique inner vision, experience and life wisdom into an avenue for expressing her truest reactions on canvas. Bobbi Dunlop considers herself a 'professional observer of life'; applying paint to canvas as the vehicle through which she most naturally communicates her observations and feelings.
Bobbi Dunlop: "The masters have set the bar for all artists who follow in their wake and will continue to do so. This is the standard to which I will always measure myself and continue to aspire. A lifelong pursuit and one which will never cease to give me purpose and great satisfaction."

Ed Eaton

|
Digital & Mixed Media Art
Born in York, England and now residing in Calgary.
Ed has backgrounds in such diverse fields as art & design, antique watch restoration and computer imaging. Mixing the hands on world of collage and assemblage with cutting edge computer graphics technology, he creates bright and intricate abstract images.
“I have several tools that I used in my restoration work that were as useful today as the day when they were made 60 or 70 years ago. A computer programme can become obsolete in a couple of years. I try and bring ideas from both these disciplines into my work.”
All of Ed’s work, digital and traditional, is available in print form.

Margery McBride Elliott

|
Margery graduated from the University of Calgary in 1995, with a Bachelor of Fine Art majoring in painting and photography.
"It seems it is always cliché to be 'awed by the Canadian landscape' or 'have a deep appreciation of the natural world' but in this case it is true. How else can one explain the passion which quietly envelops our land? Though this place is vast and huge, at least we can look at a small corner filled with ever-changing growth.
You can find Margery and her artwork in Calgary Alberta featured at Websters Gallery.

Kay Enns

|
Canadian watercolor artist Kay Enns paints primarily in watercolors, a medium, which she says is both peaceful to the soul and exciting to the heart and mind. "Blessed with a passion for color, I love to paint intense stylized landscapes to help others imagine the world the way I do. I believe that people need to learn how to see in order to truly appreciate the beauty of nature and the nature of beauty. Through the use of minute detail, exaggeration, and color, I draw your eye into nature and invite you to look again at what you've looked at before but perhaps have never truly seen."
