Since becoming serious about art 25 years ago, he has explored many directions. Maturing over the past years has seen to a well-seasoned yet unpredictable marriage of medium, technique, style, and approach.
"I use whatever tool or material is right at the time. It doesn't matter to me what method or media an artist uses; does the image stir anything up inside you? My varying style has found its way into different categories including: Visionary Art, Mixed Media, Creative Photography, and Christian Art. My works are often accompanied by writings, occasionally being born of my own hand."

Margaret Holland

|
Through my journey of life, I have come to realize what's important. It's the little things, like taking a moment to pause and reflect - to restore tranquility to the mind; to stop and listen to the wind in the trees while the birds perch on the branches - for the delight of the ears; or to gaze upon a beautiful sunset - for the refreshment of the eyes. Each of these senses evoke emotion and memories close to us all and through the medium of painting, my desire is to provide that moment.
The influence of intense, bold, dynamic colors trigger within, a myriad of vivid emotions and cherished memories. My objective is to use color to create a space in which the viewer can re-create a life experience through each painting.
My current choice of media is watercolor or pastel. Although they are both very different, they have their own characteristics, and effectively translate my energy and enthusiasm for life.

Neil Hulley

|
Canadian artist Neil Hulley started out as a farmer and it was there that he developed his love of animals, nature and the rural lifestyle of bygone days. In 1979 he left the land of his birth and immigrated to Canada where he has made this beautiful land his home. Since his arrival here, Neil Hulley is fast becoming known as a Canadian Artist. His work has been well received throughout Canada and is now represented in many corporate and private art collections across the globe. Neil now paints in acrylic and watercolors in his own unique art style, capturing realism with a subtle focus on detail. His subject matters for paintings range from the Rocky Mountains, to the Prairies, and the animals involved. Through his painting, Neil strives to pay tribute to the horse as he feels we will always be very indebted to that worthy animal. Although in itself not the bravest, this faithful steed has helped man in wars, in conquering the West and in ranching and farming. African and Canadian wildlife also feature in his work.

Jesper S. Jensen

|
In this modern world, there are many who would pretend mastery and artistry but, the truly gifted are few and far between. Much of that has to do with the grounding and schooling of the individual artisan. Jesper Jensen is one of those rare, properly schooled, incredibly talented artisans whose work is of the highest order; he is truly as much artist as artisan.
Of the many awards to come his way, he takes greatest pride in the prestigious World Titanium Council award, an industry award from his peers. Clarence Kapay

|
Imagine the scent of freshly fallen rain and a brilliantly refracted rainbow cascading down on an Indian village in the shadow of the Rocky Mountains. Perhaps you can hear an earthshattering crack of lightning as it sizzles across a spattered palette of color, culminating in the formation of a majestic warrior or a bald eagle. Or maybe you can feel the warmth as the darting flames of a campfire illuminate a buffalo hide teepee while directly above, the multi-colored, pulsating columns of light known as the aurora borealis dance in the heavens. These enchanting images remain imaginary until they’re brought to life by the paint brush of Plains Cree artist Clarence Kapay.

Ed Kemp

|
From his childhood, Ed fondly remembers visits to his grandparent's farm in Saskatchewan. Subsequently, many of these rural scenes show up in his work. Old and crumbling buildings, wind-weathered grain elevators, abandoned antique vehicles and trains set in prairie landscapes sing the nostalgia this artist has for those days. However Ed also explores his imagination, evident in the many mountainous, wildlife, seascape and underwater adventures he has taken with his paintbrush. It becomes apparent to the viewer that this artists love of animals and nature are the driving force behind his work.

Gayle Kohut

|
My husband and my family farm and ranch east of Didsbury, Alberta. It is this life and all its miracles of nature that give me my inspiration for my paintings. I like to portray the details of agriculture, rural people, livestock, and wildlife for other people to enjoy and appreciate.
Over the years I went to several workshops and have been fortunate enough to learn from Didsbury Artist Joyce Mullen the techniques in many different mediums such as from pencil, pastel, pen, and ink oils and watercolor. Bronze Sculpture and acrylic Artist Diane Anderson introduced me to gouache painting.
I have participated in numerous art shows and sales in Alberta and have won many Peoples Choice awards and Best of Show in my local town.

Patrick Landes

|
Patrick Landes seeks to accurately portray the visual language of open range, good horses, smart dogs, tough cattle, and even tougher people: an environment that is now all but lost. His portrayals, of the color, tradition and romance of the contemporary west, are certainties in description couched in artistic probability.
Painting full time, with work now hanging in both private and corporate collections, Patrick is motivated by horizons limited only to the scope of his imagination and hard earned miles of firsthand experience.

Shannon Lawlor

|
Having spent the formative years involved with horses on many levels, this in turn has evolved into the ability as an artist, to capture her subject matter as it appears in reality. Infinite moments of real life experiences are seized in her own unique interpretation using primary acrylics, oil and graphite. Brush mileage and continuously honing her skills and techniques contribute to the ongoing passion of striving always to reach new and greater heights of professional achievement. Furthermore, the study of reality and subject matter lends itself to the structure, depth and detail found in her pieces. The great appreciation she has for her subject matter is evident in each of her carefully rendered pieces. Having had the opportunity to spend time with some of the top artists of today, also contributes to the body of work she is now creating.

Brent Laycock

|
Canadian artist, Brent Laycock, has devoted a lifelong career to understanding and interpreting the Canadian landscape. His paintings in watercolour and acrylic find a resonance with many people because the work communicates the feeling and power of the landscape in a way that goes beyond representation. The most satisfying reward is knowing that people perceive the emotional communication in his work. One person commented "When I look at your paintings, I hear music."
Laycock was raised on a prairie farm near Lethbridge, and it was here that he learned to love the expanse of the prairie sky with the Rockies on the western horizon. After receiving an MFA in painting at Brigham Young University in Utah, he returned to Calgary where his artistic career has unfolded.
