Phil Chadwick
By Ontario Artist Phil Chadwick
Phil has always been an artist. His artworks are depictions of personal experiences. They hang in many private and corporate collections around the world. Several magazines and calendars have used his work. All of Phil's work is included in the "Chadwick Art House CD" from the first day of study with Mario Airomi, a famous Italian/Canadian artist, right up to the present. Trends in style, subject matter and technique are all included with nothing is left out. Most of Phil's work is now "en plein air" although he still does some studio and portrait work.

Born in the Thousand Island Region of Ontario, Phil has traveled the width and breadth of Canada before settling in southern Ontario with his family. He and his family continue to find little pieces of paradise everywhere in Canada!

Lorne Mertick
Hand Carved Cribbage Boards by Lorne Mertick
I have lived in Calgary, Alberta for over twenty years. The western influence shows itself in most of my pieces. Cowboy boots, guitars, log cabins, horses and horseshoes -- there are endless possibilities. In addition to the western-themed boards, I also produce a distinctive line of abstract pieces -- some have bridges and castles, and all have extensive carving.

I am also available to design almost any custom cribbage board imaginable. This is a growing segment of my work as customers desire a unique gift carved to their specific requests. A few of the recent pieces have been: a fighter squadron logo, a city firefighter crest, signature golf holes, motorcycle crests, and liquor bottles -- with many more pieces besides.

Jackie Miller
Paintings by Saskatoon Artist Jackie Miller
My motivation and inspiration come from the movement and colours of my environment. My paintings are a suggestion of what I encounter daily their interpretation is subject to what you feel.

I paint a number of subjects, from fruits to abstract, infusing vivid color into each image, bringing new life to old topics. The common thread is that each holds and shares a distinctive attitude and presence. From whimsical cityscapes with rhythmic patterns to lose simple images where the paint and it's texture define the painting.

Using distinctive, strong and vivid colors, the artist invites you into her images in hopes that it will evoke emotion and interaction.

Bruce H. Perry
Bruce H. Perry
"Canada's timeless beauty will always be my inspiration"

Bruce H. Perry - is a prolific Alberta artist who paints and draws Canada's infinite beauty.
Bruce is always developing as an artist, trying new techniques and mixes mediums to create perspective and texture.
For more than 25 years Bruce has produced art from the heart and has started replicating his favorite originals with the giclee' print method. Giclee' prints look very close to the original, are printed on watercolor paper and the edition number is low for appreciation.

Ian Sheldon
Ian Sheldon Alberta Artist
Canadian artist Ian Sheldon was born in Edmonton in 1971, and was brought up in South Africa, Singapore and England. While studying for his first degree (BA Hons) at Cambridge University, England, Ian began to paint the historical architecture of the city. Since 1994 galleries have exhibited this work, and in 1998, Cambridge Contemporary Art, the city's leading commercial gallery, accepted his watercolors. The City of Oxford, sharing a similar architectural heritage, has become a recent focus. Ian makes frequent trips to Britain to pursue his architectural passion.

Don Sibley
Don Sibley Ontario Artist
Don continues to create striking oil paintings on canvas using bold warm colours with an intense light source. Still Life compositions are a favourite subject matter especially in the winter months when working outside is not always possible. Working in the comfort of his studio, he is able to position the subject endlessly and move the lights around until everything is just the way he wants it to be before beginning. Some of the work he does is commissioned but many of the paintings on display here are started using sketches done on location in Europe and here in Canada.

Guy St. Godard
Guy St. Godard Manitoba Artist
In our fast paced society, Guy's works of flowers, tranquil sunsets, windy lakes and local landmarks encourage an appreciation of the beauty which surrounds us.
Born in Winnipeg, Guy graduated from the University of Manitoba with a fine arts diploma (Dean's Honor list) in 1983. His work is represented in private collections such as MTS, Dorchester Developments and others across Canada, Germany and the United States.

Doug Swinton
Doug Swinton Alberta Artist
Doug Swinton has the enviable reputation of being one of Canada's premiere outdoor painters.
Born and raised in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, Doug depicts the foothills and mountains of the Canadian Rockies with powerful movement, light and bold colour.
Doug believes that only when all of our technical skill meets all of our creativity, will we truly make art. If we do our job well, the painter and the viewer will be two moments of a single reality.
Doug owns and operates Swinton's Art Supplies and teaches many classes in-house. His knowledge of art and his willingness to share this knowledge with students has earned him a reputation as an outstanding artist and instructor. Classes include topics such as colour theory, composition, life drawing, and outdoor painting.
