Brian Burness
Alberta Artist Brian Burness
Brian started oil painting on canvas in 1994 with a southwestern flare as a form of relaxation and hobby.

Since that time he has focused on more variety and has branched into abstracts using oil and beeswax as a medium. He also continues with his southwestern style.

Brian Burness is a self-taught oil medium artist born and raised in Estevan, Sask. He moved to Alberta in 1972 to work in the oil and gas industry where he is still employed as a marketing consultant for oil service companies in Calgary, Alta.

Galts Goldsmith
Whimsical Art by Galts Goldsmith
"Whimsical Images for a Not-So-Whimsical World" It is my heartfelt desire to lift the spirit and bring joy to the hearts of people everywhere. God has gifted me with a desire to create and an ability to work with my hands. To deny this would be to deny my own existence."
Galts Goldsmith is Artist, Master Goldsmith, Hand Engraver, Stone Sculptor. He has six monumental stone sculptures in various areas around the city. Three of these sculptures now reside in Calgary's downtown core with the balance located in three of her suburbs - one in the sculpture Garden of Mount Royal College, another in Signal Hill Park and the final one in Varsity at the entrance to Bow Valley Christian Church. Each piece weighs from two tons to six tons and was finished entirely by hand.

Denyse Klette
Denyse Klette
Portrait and mural artist, Denyse Klette, has an amazing ability to capture life's many pleasures in her paintings. She transports us to time of wild abandon, quiet contemplation, belly laughs, and smiles. To witness her creations is to get lost in lighthearted brush strokes and a love of all that life has to offer. Her Portraits, whether of a whimsical toothless child or a CEO of a major corporation, capture the essence of that individual. She tries whenever possible to spend time with the subjects of her portraits and observe how they interact with family, friends, and the world around them. She then transforms the emotions and personality of the individuals into canvas keepsakes to be treasured for years to come. Her talent is not restricted to canvas portraits. You could walk into her murals and join the world that she has created. One of her most coveted murals entitled "So Much To Discover", painted in 1993, is still pleasing pedestrians, drivers, and travelers from all around. It stands proudly at the top of the Broadway bridge in Saskatoon.

Cindy Revell
Illustration artist - Fine Art Artist Cindy Revell
Cindy Revell is an award winning illustrator and oil painter. Her work has been used on billboards, wine bottles, books, magazines, calendars, furniture, and children’s books all over North America. She was nominated in 2001 for a Governor General’s award for children’s book illustration (Mallory and the Power Boy).

While her traditional oil paintings and whimsical illustration are very different in style from one another they are both rich and lush with colour. A few of the clients Cindy has worked with are L.A. Times, Washington Post, Harvard Business Review, Better Homes and Gardens, Cornell University, Penguin Putnam, Harcourt, and Scholastic.

Lisa Rotenberg
Folk Art and Illustration by Canadian Artist Lisa Rotenberg
Lisa Rotenberg is a very busy artist, working out of her cubby hole studio in downtown Toronto.
Listed with the National Gallery of Canada, she produces work at an alarming rate for private and corporate clients - showing a flare for color and wit that has not landed her in trouble yet.
Whether the subject matter is a dancing hot dog or a Canadian landscape, craftsmanship and strategy are key elements of her work.
A painting must stand the test of time or it does not leave the office.
