George Likakis
George Likakis Canadian Artist
His paintings are filled with natural images mostly from Canada and the vast Greek open seas as well as from other parts of the world, deriving from his own photography, something that he takes pride in.
George Likakis finds his art form as a tremendous inner exposure of his own world and a strong expressionism towards the human ability to capture art in a deeper vision. Currently he works right from his private studio in Ontario Canada. If you happen to be in Toronto area do not hesitate to call George Likakis for a private viewing on available pieces.

Elisabeth Litto
Elisabeth Litto Canadian Artist
Elisabeth Littomericzky was born in Vienna, Austria, in 1956. She discovered she was interested in more than designing clothes while attending Schloss Hetzendorf School of Fashion Design. That broader interest laid in creating scenes of colours, shading, and detail; works of art. At the time, she did a lot of drawing, mostly using pencil and crayon. When she realized her interest for art, the Vienna art circle had great artists such as Rudolph Hausner and Ernst Fuchs.

Bert Liverance
Floral Artwork by Bert Liverance - Ontario Artist
Each painting is a celebration of one of nature's most delicate gifts. That's why they're big and bold. I want to make sure they command the attention they deserve. Flowers talk to me and I try and talk back through my paintings. I am still captivated by the diversity of flowers, their shapes and colors .... an endless supply of inspiration.

My oil paintings are large, typically 36" x 48", and take from 3-6 months to complete. I capture the bold colors, light, and shadow in a hyper realistic style to make the flowers come off the canvas. Over the last year or so I have also been painting in the Encaustic medium. Like my Oils, my Encaustics emphasize the bold colors, light and shadows but with a looser style. My Encaustics have a vibrancy all their own as a result of light interacting with the colored wax to yield a whole new look..that are'always in bloom.

Jack Lockhart
Jack Lockhart Canadian Artist
Canadian artist Jack Lockhart is an internationally known artist. He was born in Selkirk, Manitoba in 1939. Jack's paintings can be found in private, and corporate collections throughout North America, Europe, Australia, New Zealand and Japan. Jack has had numerous exhibits including two at the O'Keefe Centre and the American Express Canada Room in Toronto. Jack is available to do commissioned work for individual and corporate clients.

Diana Lockie
Diana Lockie Alberta Artist
Canadian artist Diana Lockie was born in Saskatchewan and was raised on a small farm in Alberta. She paints with a limited color palette of black and white with sepia overtones; which lend her works an old world look. A longing for the life values and ambience of ages past motivates the artist to create these images. Diana creates a window to a previous age, when the pace of life was simpler and slower; when people appreciated each other above all else. She introduces a style of painting uniquely her own for nostalgia fine art collectors around the world. Her work has captured attention from movie productions, antique enthusiasts and dealers alike.

Thomas Love
Thomas Love - Canadian Artist
Tom paints a very broad spectrum of subject matter and often chooses to include the human form in order to provide a focus of interest. Subjects are often set in common place and are rendered realistically without being photographic or photo-realistic. The themes of his paintings are often romantic and are chosen to evoke strong emotion in the viewer and to provoke a strong identification with the subject.
Exploring various subject matter has resulted in such accomplishments as a corporate calendar, an international magazine cover and recognition, three times, by The Artist's Magazine for submissions to its annual, international art competition.

Frances Ann Low
Frances Ann Low - Canadian Artist
Frances Ann considers her pieces visual parables for our time. Her art draws on the sacred stories of several spiritual traditions and interweaves them like threads into the tapestry of the One Truth. Frances Ann is interested in capturing those moments when our human spirit reaches up to Heaven and Heaven bends down to touch the earth. She invites us to go to the thin places that our First Nations people know so well. Her work draws the viewer into a contemplative space. The American Southwest calls to Frances Ann in a special way. It is a place of breathtaking colour and stark shapes. The sprawling adobe, craggy ridges, brilliant blues, circling eagles, jumping trout and fast flowing river of the monastery at Pecos, New Mexico have been calling this artist all of her life. It is a place steeped in Pueblo history and monastic stillness and both of these have served as inspiration for her art.

Debbie Lund
Debbie Lund - Canadian Western Artist
Beautiful original equestrian and western horse art from Canadian Federation Artist, Debbie Lund.
Customized and personal portraits of your horse, pet and family.
"My style is new and is ever evolving and still seeking and experimenting as to where it desires to go, but my main passion is to portray those moments of true emotion. My passion is my horses and my children, and their inner beauty and spirituality is what I strive to portray and bring out. My goal as an artist is to be able to capture that "one" moment that is so briefly there then gone again. It is that moment that is the most intense and most precious and the "one" that is never forgotten. Isn't that what life is all about? Those little moments along the way?"

Rhonda Lund
Rhonda Lund - Canadian Artist
Though I work in a variety of mediums the original of the work you see here was done in acrylic on canvas. The subjects I choose are a reflection of my own environment and experiences.
Years as a hockey parent left me with the impression that underneath the politics of hockey is essentially the influence of the prairie environment; out of the long, harsh and cold winters there came the competitive and vigorous spirit evident in hockey.
The Canadian identity is largely influenced by this sport and so I have included symbolic elements such as CNN railway cars and cattails.

Sherren MacLeod
Sherren MacLeod - Canadian Artist
British Columbia watercolour artist, Sherren MacLeod, is known for the intense colour she uses in her paintings, her striking floral art, and whimsical island life scenes.

"My experience in the unique lifestyle of the Gulf Islands prompted me to paint my “Island Life Series” with many quaint scenes. People seemed to love these paintings and I gradually took part in some exhibitions and shows. I started selling my art at the famous Salt Spring Island market, which gave me more exposure and I soon was selling my prints and cards worldwide along with originals and commissioned art."

Her art is shown at the following galleries. Coney Studio, Salt Spring Island, BC, Three Crows Gallery, Mission, BC, Waterfront Gallery, Salt Spring Island, BC, Paper Nation, Abbotsford, BC.

Bernard Major
Bernard Major - Canadian Artist
'Bernie' made his transition to oil paints several years ago after being a watercolourist most of his adult life. Since then he has immersed himself in this wonderful medium, exploring its endless qualities. A style has emerged rich in colour and texture. This has been achieved while preserving the translucent effect he so loved with water colours. His subjects are wide and varied; from landscapes to still life, from portraits to boats and from animals to life models. He explains, 'Choosing a subject for a new painting is the first important step. I have to feel compelled to paint the subject matter, telling the story I can see is there. Once this is decided, I become absorbed in the process until I am ready to sign the painting'.

Bernie is an active member of the Federation of Canadian Artists with numerous juried competitions to his credit.
