Karin Taylor![]() |
I am a wildlife artist with a passion for unusual canvases. These days I mainly paint onto wild turkey feathers. As you will be able to see from my feather gallery, the abundance of patterns and colors of the wild turkey feathers make a wonderfully different and challenging canvas!! All my feathers are hand painted in acrylics, each one is unique and, of course, an original! |
Trevor Tennant![]() |
When you approach the art of Canadian artist Trevor Tennant, you are entering a world of beauty and light in his landscape and wildlife paintings. His attention to detail and ability to capture the "glow" of light is winning him national and international acclaim. His techniques are entirely self-taught believing that art is best learned through mistakes, and by the determination to make each new painting better than the one before. He paints primarily in acrylic, creating the impression of depth, distance and texture by using layer upon layer of thin acrylic paint. |

She has won awards both for her painting and carving, and exhibits work in group shows about once a year. Currently she is showing work at and has created paintings for the Washington Shakespeare Company's production of "Lulu," at the Clark Street Playhouse in Arlington, Virgina (Nov. 17 - December 13, 2009). Sandra Vasilenko![]() |
Growing up in southern New Brunswick, I watched my grandfather paint
wonderful works of art. His son, my uncle also had a very strong gifting in oil painting as well. I realized this was part of my heritage, and it inspired me to try my hand at drawing. It was an obsession as far back as I can remember. I loved it, I breathed it, it was part of who I was and would someday be. I have had no formal training, but being "home schooled" in art by a family of artist can be even a greater challenge then I could have imagined. At times tuff. But always rewarding. Eventually I picked up the brush too. The moment I started painting I knew this would be the only thing I would be happy doing. I thank God always for his gift, the inspiration that could only come from Him, so I always give him glory. |
Kristeen Verge![]() |
Kristeen's passion for life transpires through her fine art. On canvas, she uses saturated acrylic colours to interpret mostly flowers in a rich and voluptuous semi-abstract style. Her artwork is inspired by music and gardening memories. Her expression is distinct, bold and uplifting. As her collectors report: "Owning Verge's paintings keep a smile in our hearts."
Colours, brushes, canvases''..and I'm in timelessness; free to express my passion. The rich reds, purples, yellows and greens mingle to create semi-abstract bold and uplifting fine art. As a professional artist, my intention is to impart the viewer with artwork that will make ones heart sing! KVerge |

Ada Vostry![]() |
Being an avid nature lover and an outdoorsman the images he creates are influenced and motivated by nature or at times by the rich history of North America. His keen eye for detail supported by his unfailing good sense of humour helps him to see the cheerful rather than the serious side of life. Today, Ada Vostry' ceramic sculptures or other ceramic artworks are proudly displayed in many private collections in Czech Republic (former Czechoslovakia), Slovakia, Austria, Germany, Italy and now in Canada. |
Eldon Walls![]() |
"I guess I've always drawn and painted ever since I can remember. Even during classes in school, I was the least attentive student, daydreaming about horses and drawing them into cartoons on the edges of my textbooks. Often the strict comments from my teacher would bring me back to reality, reluctantly of course. However, soon I would be back creating a cartoon of a horse jumping over a fence, which became crudely animated as I flipped the edges of the pages." Alberta artist Eldon Walls creates caricatures, cartoons, murals and does airbrush work on RV's and motorcycles. Eldon is an accomplished artist painting in watercolor, acrylic, oils and pen and ink. |
Jennifer Watier![]() |
In 2006 I developed my focus on some very colourful and humorous art that was quite different from my usual style. The first painting quickly picked up attention from collectors across canada even before I had it in print. I had many requests for prints and collectors asking if their would be more paintings in the series. Thus was born my "LARGER THAN LIFE" limited edition series about 3 retired ladies traveling the world and enjoying everyday life and the things it brings along. The full series is in print, and greeting card sets are also available.
Although I will still continue to paint humour and try new types of art, my first love will always be wildlife. I tend to paint what ever I love, be it land or sea, as I feel no subject is off limits to the imagination. |
Richard Wear![]() |

Richard's original works and limited edition prints and giclees are highly sought after by serious collectors. Richard invites you to view his work and welcomes any questions that you may have. |
