John Amoakoh
U.K. Artist - John Amoakoh
John Amoakoh was born in Luton, Bedfordshire, England 1973, with (a rare and wonderful gift) Drawing whilst humming quietly to himself; this began from a very early age,' from since he could hold a pencil' he adds. He would tirelessly draw all day and others would purposely visit the family just to get a glance. Even though just a child he was obviously into art and design. And many knew he'd become an Artist.
John Amoakoh's work can be found in many private collections worldwide. From Skod Publishings to Virgin and Ghana Airways. From Book Cover Design, Paintings, to Product Design using all mediums. Watercolours being his favourite. "I think it gives you more freedom with the brush," he concludes.

Antoinette
U.S.A. Artist - Antoinette
Born in New York City, Antoinette has traveled extensively, from Canada to Mexico, and throughout the United States, to the Caribbean, and to Jamaica, where she spent time with some of the tigers, panthers and leopards she has painted. She is self-taught and draws on that memory of pictures from which to paint, as well as still visiting zoos and wildlife refuges, such as Fossil Rim, a wildlife center about two hours from her residence, in order to obtain accurate reference material for her work.
Antoinette has always had a love of the earth and animals of all kinds. Her work has been purchased locally, nationally and internationally.

Linda Besse
U.S.A. Artist - Linda Besse
Linda was drawn to the outdoors through her geology bachelor's degree from Colgate University, followed with a Master of Science degree which enabled her to get into the back country of Alaska, Nevada, Wyoming, Utah, and Montana. She is a self-taught artist and from field sketches, small field paintings, and her photographs, Linda creates a composition designed to reflect the inherent artistry of nature.
Painting exclusively in oil because she likes its luminosity, depth, and intensity of color, Linda uses a mostly wet-on-wet technique to capture the immediacy of the image. She lives in the country surrounded by deer, wild turkey, grouse, quail, coyote, and the occasional moose.

Michael Bryant
Wood carving by Michael Bryant
The uniqueness that my life now offers is a cumulative effort of skill, love and passion, birds, mammals, fish, and wood. These things all interact in an all-organic form. Their beauty lies within their lines of motion.

From a raw log, I start with an idea, a feeling, if you will. I go with my intuition and the wood talks to me. The curve of a crane's neck, the attitude of a horse's body, these are all things that happen when my work and I are on the same plane. And when that happens, it seems effortless, like I'm in open space with the creatures as they live. It's as if I am a part of their world for a moment in time.

Chris Cameron
Australian Photographic Artist - Chris Cameron
Over the past several years I have been looking for a method of presenting the best of my work in a unique manner ' heavily influenced by the exquisite Watercolours of my late wife Mary, and her Mother, Betty McKenzie. The goal was to produce an Archival Image on the beautiful textured watercolour paper that they used ' retaining the detail of the "parent" photograph, but with some of the "softness" of a Watercolour.

It is only in the early part of this year (2003) that this has been realised, in a parallel development to that happening elsewhere in the World, now known as the "Giclee process". With this part finally achieved, I am now going through my Library, selecting the very best Wildlife and Landscape Images to carefully transform and release in Limited Edition Series.

Tim Cox
Western Artist - Tim Cox
Tim's paintings have appeared on over 300 magazine covers through the years, and he has been featured in articles in at least 16 different publications, including Southwest Art, Western Horseman, Art of the West, American Cowboy and Beef.

While most of his time is consumed by painting, Tim regularly rides and works on various ranches throughout the West. He combines the basic ingredients of color, value, perspective and pleasing design with his desire to be a perfectionist in portraying the real working cowboy.

This perfectionism earned Tim the "Ayudando Siempre Alli Award" from the New Mexico Cattle Growers´ Association for his contributions to agriculture. Alisa Ogden, President of the Association said: "Along with lifting our spirits, Tim Cox’s special images keep the magic of the cowboy alive for literally tens of thousands of city folks across the nation and around the world."

Guy Dahl
U.S.A. Artist - Guy Dahl
Having worked in many different mediums, Guy has found sculpting the most satisfying. Capturing the movement and textures of his subjects seems to be a constant challenge. Great thought and knowledge goes into showing off each element of his sculptures in a unique, appealing, and realistic format with a slight artist twist. While living in Western and North Western Canada, Guy has had the opportunity to view many species of wildlife in their natural environment. From a Beaver searching a mountain stream for food, to two Bull Moose battling it out during the Rut. Or, a herd of Mountain Caribou running up and over a mountain at the sight of a wolverine, to Mountain Goats scaling cliffs, Guy has had the opportunity to experience nature in its truest form. It's these experiences that have proven to be a great asset in realistically portraying his subjects.

Amanda Furr
Artist Amanda Furr - Vehicle Art
When I come across a subject matter worthy of painting it is like falling in love for the first time. It sweeps me off my feet and I want to find a way to immortalize that moment for all time, creating something that will communicate that feeling to someone else. For me, that experience comes most often with antique cars, particularly the 1950's models. The sweeping curve of their exterior is like a sculpture, and I am fascinated with the way they bend and curve light -- especially when that surface is chrome or Bakelite. It is a dance of visual poetry.
My abstract art is the result of subconscious struggles with everyday life. Frequently, I will see names and themes bubble to the surface that I didn't realize were there. Some people say that dreams are the result your subconscious letting go of multiple life events and leaving your conscious mind to sort thru it all and make sense of several different episodes at once. I am usually surprised that what I start out painting changes and evolve into something much more interesting than I anticipated. It is like raising a child and watching him grow with all those unexpected moments of bliss and delight. After I'm finished I think, "Wow, where did that come from?"

Ritch Gaiti
Ritch Gaiti - Western and Native Art
Ritch Gaiti's ethereal paintings commemorate the west- a horse runs free on the open range; a buffalo oversees the plains that he rules; a proud people enjoy a rich culture and a oneness with the land. The paintings are about change, evolution, and extinction-something emerges, something disappears. Each represents the spirit of a time long gone.

"My goal is to put the viewer, not only in another time and place, but also in the subject's heart"

You can view all of Ritch Gaiti's art on his website www.gaiti.com

Patricia Guzm'n
Mexico City Artist - Patricia Guzm'n
I love to paint animals such as horses, dogs and wild ones; but not only animals, also portraits of different type of people, of different culture.
I think there is always something to learn about painting; to me books are my best teachers because they don't influence my vision that much. They teach me about technique, about painters' lifes, etc., but they don't tell me how a thing must be because we all see life and painting in a different way, what I think and feel cannot be tought. As a painter I believe to seek for the truth, to paint themes that have something special, that makes me shake, not for money or not to produce as an assembly line.

Marijo Readey
Artist Marijo Readey
The landscapes and images of the northern United States and Canada inspire my painting and my photography.

Because I was first trained in etching, drawing and in painting, the compositional influences and the methods of that training spill into my photography. Some of my work is strict, nature photography. At other times, I start with a photograph, and I then manipulate and abstract the image through a series of filters and mathematical transforms to express some emotional or spiritual state that I perceive as contained within that image.

Ana Karelia Rios Estrada
By Artist Ana Karelia Rios Estrada
My way of painting on the paper or canvas is something very personal and there are almost never rules when following my work. It is absolutely free and sometimes it can be autobiographical. I paint what I feel and personally think that the real life becomes true when I do it because it is everything I carry inside and nothing is more important anymore .
I use several techniques to paint such as oil, watercolours, oil pastel, dry pastel, ink, acrylics, and mixed too. I also work with others materials like mud, wood, metal, etc.

Darryl Willison
New Mexico Western Artist - Darryl Willison
This young artist's work of the vivid and whimsical west will take you back to the days of yesteryear of wild west heroes, villains, and the country side they roamed! Darryl has recreated in his own unique style a part of American history he feels is an essential part of our culture.

His fiery colors and sometimes humorous approaches to his subject matter remind us of the vintage days of Hollywood when Roy Rogers, Gene Autry, Rex Allen and Tom Mix rode the open plains in search of truth, justice and the occasional buffalo! Darryl feels that the silver screen cowboy gave people a "real" hero to look up to, and were a fascination to the world.
