Judy Dahl![]() |
Today, one of only a few Canadians to be accredited in both livestock and equine photography, Judy still shoots prize-winning animals, but now her portfolio has expanded to include photos of old barns and empty elevators, abandoned houses and deserted farm yards, dilapidated outhouses and forgotten machinery - mementos of lives and industry now past.
Not only does Judy's extensive collection serve as an historic reference, but the photos are also fodder for her highly treasured Prismacolor crayon and pencil drawings, water-colours, and oil paintings. |
Lynn Hauer![]() |
Lynn displayed a certain affinity to 'see pictures' from the early days of operating his parent's box cameras. Being self-taught in photography has allowed a unique and uninhibited light to shine from this medium. Since becoming serious about art 25 years ago, he has explored many directions. Maturing over the past ten years has seen to a well-seasoned yet unpredictable marriage of medium, technique, style, and approach.
While always having expressed individual spirituality in his art; his main inspiration and gridline are now the Bible and Jesus Christ himself. Photography is the art of seeing. "Pictures need a reason to be born." |
Lisa Maxine Kjernisted![]() |
Lisa Maxine Kjernisted is an artist with an eye for the infinite within the particular. Natural wonders, architectural genius and dynamic people of her travels form the body of her photographic work; however her montages blend realistic photography with abstract colours, textures and often words or phrases to create conceptual work. Lisa continually participates in solo and collective art exhibitions and holds a Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Education, specializing in Art & Music Education from the University of Victoria, BC, CANADA. As an artist and educator, she has guided students diverse in ability from the preschool to post-secondary levels and is inspired to help people find their creative voices through visual art and music.

Marijo Readey![]() |
The landscapes and images of the northern United States and Canada inspire my painting and my photography. Because I was first trained in etching, drawing and in painting, the compositional influences and the methods of that training spill into my photography. Some of my work is strict, nature photography. At other times, I start with a photograph, and I then manipulate and abstract the image through a series of filters and mathematical transforms to express some emotional or spiritual state that I perceive as contained within that image. |
Barbara Simpson![]() |
Barbara Simpson, the exciting "Originals Only" Canadian artist, resides in Brockville near the picturesque St. Lawrence River while continuing to pursue her passion to paint. My paintings define my individuality, along with my vibrant personality. I love a myriad of colour, which represents my "joie de vivre". My work is considered to be upbeat, warm and flattering to the eye. And while I currently work with acrylic paints, I have experimented with other mediums such as: pen and ink, charcoal, pastel, watercolor and oil. I enjoy painting abstract, portrait and various other subjects, although, most of my work features floral and landscapes, and several tropical settings. |
