Sandra Vasilenko

|
Growing up in southern New Brunswick, I watched my grandfather paint
wonderful works of art.
His son, my uncle also had a very strong gifting in
oil painting as well. I realized this was part of my heritage, and it
inspired me to try my hand at drawing. It was an obsession as far back as I
can remember. I loved it, I breathed it, it was part of who I was and would
someday be. I have had no formal training, but being "home schooled" in art
by a family of artist can be even a greater challenge then I could have
imagined. At times tuff. But always rewarding. Eventually I picked up the
brush too. The moment I started painting I knew this would be the only thing
I would be happy doing.
I thank God always for his gift, the inspiration
that could only come from Him, so I always give him glory.

Richard Wear

|
Richard’s passion is photography which is more than obvious when viewing his images. His unique eye interprets and captures the world in a unique and stylized way. His perception for lighting, minuscule detail and perfection adds to his ability to make every photograph a piece of exquisite art. He currently lives in Edmonton, Alberta.
Richard’s original works and limited edition prints and giclees are highly sought after by serious collectors. Richard invites you to view his work and welcomes any questions that you may have.

Al Weitzel

|
Al's remarkably detailed and lifelike works have inspired hundreds of other artists, both professional and amateur, to try their hand at this unique and exciting art medium. His Scratchboard workshop kit, designed as a learn-at-home version of his popular introduction to scratchboard workshop, has created a legion of new artist and crafters who enjoy the challenges and rewards of scratchboard.
Al’s original works have been called “unbelievably realistic”, “remarkable creations of light and shadow”, “incredible achievements”, “so three-dimensional I swear I could reach right into the scene.” It’s not surprising then that they are hanging in corporate and private collections in countries around the world. Al’s “Art of Achievement” series of reproductions are a popular choice in Canadian homes and businesses alike.

Bram L. Wolf

|
Canadian artist Bram L. Wolf lives and works in a horse farm area of southern Ontario. He spent most of his early life in a small ranching community in the West. Working and living among farms and ranches gave him a great respect for the working cowboy, the great romantic figure of the North American West. Most people don't realize the long hours and hard work that is required of the men that choose this life style. Dust and sweat is their constant companion not to mention the brutal winters that some of them endure. They are definitely the backbone of the cattle industry.
Other subjects that Bram likes to paint include the early trapper or mountain man, the Native American and wildlife. His favorite horses are the Quarter horse and the Mustang and his favorite dog is the Australian Cattle Dog (Heeler).

John Zacharias

|
"If my work can evoke one emotion or a slight awakening in just one viewer, then I have been successful as an artist. I believe that art is a visual account of one's experience's. My goal is not only to paint a visually attractive picture, but also to allow the viewer to relate to the image before them. From the inception of a new work through to the end, I develop abstract elements (such as positive and negative shapes) to create a pleasing composition. Everyone has their own way of seeing the world; I am just painting my interpretation of it."

Michele Zarb

|
Beyond technical ability, Michele feels an artist’s biggest challenge is to evoke emotion. To capture a fleeting moment or mood, involving the viewer in more than a photographic translation. She mixes traditional subject matter with non-traditional style and flair. Her work offers a wide range of media that knows no bounds, captivating the imagination and delighting the sense of sight. Michele’s diverse work portrays the full range of human emotion, from thoughtful quiet images to vibrant, colorful, and exciting portrayals.
In addition to painting, Michele has been teaching art for over 10 years. She encourages each student to find their own way of expression, using an individual approach to meet each student’s needs. She gives demonstrations and workshops for many art clubs and associations throughout southern Alberta.
