Trevor Tennant![]() |
When you approach the art of Canadian artist Trevor Tennant, you are entering a world of beauty and light in his landscape and wildlife paintings. His attention to detail and ability to capture the "glow" of light is winning him national and international acclaim. His techniques are entirely self-taught believing that art is best learned through mistakes, and by the determination to make each new painting better than the one before. He paints primarily in acrylic, creating the impression of depth, distance and texture by using layer upon layer of thin acrylic paint. |
Jennifer Watier![]() |
In 2006 I developed my focus on some very colourful and humorous art that was quite different from my usual style. The first painting quickly picked up attention from collectors across canada even before I had it in print. I had many requests for prints and collectors asking if their would be more paintings in the series. Thus was born my "LARGER THAN LIFE" limited edition series about 3 retired ladies traveling the world and enjoying everyday life and the things it brings along. The full series is in print, and greeting card sets are also available.
Although I will still continue to paint humour and try new types of art, my first love will always be wildlife. I tend to paint what ever I love, be it land or sea, as I feel no subject is off limits to the imagination. |
Richard Wear![]() |
Richard's passion is photography which is more than obvious when viewing his images. His unique eye interprets and captures the world in a unique and stylized way. His perception for lighting, minuscule detail and perfection adds to his ability to make every photograph a piece of exquisite art. He currently lives in Edmonton, Alberta. Richard's original works and limited edition prints and giclees are highly sought after by serious collectors. Richard invites you to view his work and welcomes any questions that you may have. |
Al Weitzel![]() |
Al's remarkably detailed and lifelike works have inspired hundreds of other artists, both professional and amateur, to try their hand at this unique and exciting art medium. His Scratchboard workshop kit, designed as a learn-at-home version of his popular introduction to scratchboard workshop, has created a legion of new artist and crafters who enjoy the challenges and rewards of scratchboard. Al's original works have been called 'unbelievably realistic', 'remarkable creations of light and shadow', 'incredible achievements', 'so three-dimensional I swear I could reach right into the scene.' It's not surprising then that they are hanging in corporate and private collections in countries around the world. Al's 'Art of Achievement' series of reproductions are a popular choice in Canadian homes and businesses alike. |

Donna Wilson![]() |
Born to a third generation Alberta Ranching family, Donna Wilson has a strong affinity for the people and animals that live and work in this environment.
She has continued to work with cattle and horses throughout her entire life, and spends a great deal of time enjoying the native wildlife that lives in the area. Most of the subjects of her sculptures are people and animals that are a part of her everyday life and she accurately depicts the individual characters of each. While living and working close to nature and on the land, she has developed a deep appreciation for the people and animals in her environment. She is careful and observant in the detail of each individual making sculptures that are not only life like but accurate. Those persons who enjoy western art will like this artist’s depictions of the characters that live and work in an increasingly threatened way of life. |
Susan Wuthrich![]() |
A favourite quote "The artist does not see things as they are, but as he is." Susan's rural life certainly emerges in her art, which portrays a sense of peace and tranquility with her surroundings in the beautiful Peace River Country. "I would classify my art as realism but at times I like to throw in some impressionism with the colors that I use. My focus in each painting is to capture a lasting mood. My subjects range from landscapes, florals, nostalgia & wildlife. I have always been one to explore new ideas and things so this is why you see such a diversification in my subject matter." |
