Biography

I have always from an early age been taken in with the world of art. By art, I mean drawing and painting. It seems the more engaged you are the more it grows on you.

I started at the age of 9 years old with pen and ink. I found out that ink is not very forgiving. When a line is there, it is there to stay. So pencil work in all its detail is very important. It also taught me to be patient. I have a lot of patience. I worked with pen and ink up until 1964. After that year I began working with oils, which opened up for me a whole world of color. The oil painting I have kept up to this day. As the years went by, I also added the watercolors, which are very beautiful. I have also done commissioned work and I am involved in custom framing.

What you see here on my homepage is a set of watercolor postcards, which I send now from coast to coast. I still have some of the postcard originals in my studio.

At present I have some 65 pieces of art framed in. Maybe in the future, they will all be on the computer. For example The Stradivarius print is a 17 x 25 poster and it was commissioned from Italy. This poster is priced at $90.00 unframed and is shipped flat. Beside all the framed in work, I have a series of black and white 9 x 12 prints (8 in total) of Alberta Historics. The price for these is $15.00 unframed but I also frame these double matted for $55.00.

I have no training at all and love what I am doing.
