I was fortunate enough to spend time in the Pacific Rim area on Canada's west coast: an incredible part of the world. The beaches take hours to walk just one way and the rainforest holds you spellbound with atmosphere. This painting relates one of those weather moments that I'm sure the area residents consider to be an everyday event, but I couldn't resist experiencing by standing on the beach facing the wind...and driving rain.
