We use electric shears for shearing but sometimes using the old hand shears just makes some jobs easier, like cleaning up lambs before going to the sale barn, getting them to their best to fetch top dollar. Callum was sitting there, just before we were to put in another long day and here was my wee lamb at one time, look at him, he looked like a young strong warrior. Yet another little proud moment for me, it would never be shared, turning my back eyes moisten. Another great moment in time in my life.
