Born and raised on a ranch near Hanna, Alberta, Nicole has expressed a deep-rooted passion for the prairies and ranching lifestyle since a young age. Born with a natural artistic talent, she has used a pencil to express this passion as long as she can remember, drawing those everyday scenes so familiar those involved with ranching.
It wasn't until after completing her diploma in Livestock Production and Management at Olds College in 2007 that this self-taught artist considered her art more seriously. After moving back home the summer of 2007, Nicole started to take on some commissioned pieces and spent more time working on her own drawings. Quickly, she gained the support and recognition of the local community. In September of 2008, limited edition gicl'''s of her work became available to the public.
Coming from a small town with limited services and located a distance from any city center, Nicole's wood-working hobby was soon incorporated into her business, making barnwood frames for her prints. Recently, this has been expanded to cover a range of western and rustic home d'cor, from lamps to coffee tables to decorative frames.
