It's Water Under the Dock

Janice and Emily Dippo were on the dock at Clear Lake during the Victoria Day weekend, May 1991. Keith was under the dock at the time and Emily was poking the stick through the slats at him. Otherwise, they were goofing around and something very special caught my eye. Janice and Emily have been best friends ever since the first time Janice took a walk in Schomberg. Emily stuck her tongue out at her but told her dad, Don that she "wanted to talk to that girrll". They have been best friends ever since... something very special. The title is a bit of a pun after "it's water under the bridge"... their continuing friendship is as clear as water under the dock at Clear Lake.

This painting went better than I could have ever hoped, right from the start! I think Mario, my teacher and friend, would be pleased... Notice that Janice doesn't have the artificial tan which I gave in "Kindred Spirits", painting number 323.
