I’ve been going out to Elk Island National Park for the last four years photographing bison and other wildlife. Out of the many thousands of buffalo images that I’ve taken, I feel that this is probably one of my best images of a buffalo. It was minus 25 celius in January and there were about 50 buffalo standing clumped together in a herd. However, I noticed one long all by himself and the rest is what you see.
