A Note of Thanks
Weighing The Harvest by Canadian Artist Shirley Campbell

Lynda, I want to thank you for encouraging me to start painting again!

When I dug out my old oil paints I found they were still good; but it took me two afternoons to get all the "cemented" tops off of the tubes after all those years of gathering dust in the basement.

After that was accomplished, I was on my way!

I have received so many positive e-mails from people giving me encouragement these last few months, and I have appreciated all of the comments and words of encouragement!

One especially stands out in my mind…a very talented women from Golden British Columbia, Dana Bolton has said she too should resume painting…as you see by her work, we certainly agree!

Knowing we have been instrumental at having some artists to go back to their easel has made me want even more to continue painting!

Weighting The Harvest is my first attempt at the three paintings I had promised to complete for 2000. I am excited to say, I have just finished my fifth!

I'm so enjoying having the paintbrush back in my hand, I only wish I had gotten back to it earlier.... so many thanks Lynda!
