"This drawing was based on Bob Marley's song, Buffalo Soldier. The verse that echoes throughout the song is…."

Buffalo Soldier, Dreadlock Rasta
There was a Buffalo Soldier in the heart of America,
Stolen from Africa, brought to America,
Fighting on arrival, fighting for survival.

"I tried to portray these words by showing the soldiers journey and struggle for survival. (A map can be seen amongst the images.) The images depicted are Bob Marley (Africa), Warrior(America) and a Soldier (Carribean/S.America area). A buffalo is lightly faded in the bottom right corner."
