Artist's Statement
Martin Luther King, Marcus Garvey, Frederick Douglas and Malcolm represent the four most recognized human rights activists in their time. All of these men have made major contributions to equal rights throughout the years and I wanted to put them altogether in one painting to show that these people were here for a purpose… equality amongst all races.
