Artist's Statement
This painting was inspired by someone I know that finally met their birth mother for the first time in 35 years. I was a heart-warming experience and what made it extra special for me was that I was there at the official meeting. My painting reflects this by showing the womb in a different light, showing, multiple births meaning "reborn" in a sense.
