Every instructor is an experienced professional. Each instructor teaches drawing and painting in all mediums, to everyone, from the absolute beginner up to the advanced student. Students select the class-time that best suits their schedule, and their favorite medium. Oils, pastels, drawing, or even a different medium each day, it's up to the student. Classes are small and each student is taught individually within the group environment. Instructors spend time with each student, demonstrating, and explaining the principles particular to the specific types of art materials.

Mary-Leigh Doyle |
Mary-Leigh has been an artist "jack of all trades" for most of her life. Her formal education includes studies at the Ontario College of Art, the University of Calgary, Mount Royal College and S.A.I.T.. Her pursiuits have included printmaking, figure drawing, pen & ink, fashion design, batik, and oil painting and instructs at many facilities in Calgary, including Swinton's. MON. Noel Dyer |
Noel majored in Visual Communications at ACAD. He has experience with many mediums, giving him a "jack of all trades" reputation as an Artist. Noel is very good with oil and acrylic painting, airbrushing, drawing, cartooning, as well as other mediums. His knowledge of a wide range of mediums makes him especially helpfull to those looking to get into the arts. SAT. 9:00am - 10:30am. | TUES. 4:20pm - 5:50pm | FRI. 6:00pm - 8:00pm |
Nancy-lynne Hughes |
Nancy-lynne has been painting and teaching for a living for over 20 years. Well versed in all mediums, Nancy-lynne enjoys the excitement of watercolour. Chris Jordan |
Chris attended the University of Calgary, majoring in Fine Art. He has been painting and teaching art to childeren and adults for many years. His knowledge of Art materials and their applications is considerable, as is his dedication. Chris's artwork spans the full spectrum of styles. It includes figurative works rendered in the "Old Masters" style, contemporary abstract pieces, and images encompassing everything in between. Chris has an extensive knowledge of different painting techniques, and his willingness to share this knowledge makes him a valuable contact for any artist. MON. Afternoon, Evening | WED. Loretta |
Loretta began her quest at a young age studying drawing and painting, then advancing to studies at the University of Lethbridge and ACAD. She has also attended numerous seminars with selected professional artists. Through her expressive way of painting she is letting the colours sing and tell the story. Falling away from detailed work to a more expressive mark, she adds a new dimension to her craft. Loretta is continually striving for a new challenge. MON. Morning. | WED.
