I’ve always been fascinated by flowers and was drawing and painting them as soon as I could grasp a crayon.  My delight with the colours, textures and lines that nature provides never stops. I love early morning light and the stark shadows it creates. Typically I paint from my own photography. The mediums may shift but the focus is always nature.

 

I see as though seeing for the first time, with childlike delight.  My awe and respect for nature is constant. It feeds my work daily.

 

We know that walking in nature heals us. With these works, rooted in nature, I transfer the emotion, joy and peace that inspired them. My hope is that my works bring you the peace of the natural world.
